I was looking looking for protein bars and everything had Soy. This recipe comes from a good friend of mine who crashed her thyroid on the SOY train and it took her years to bring that baby back to life.  The thyroid is so key to all health and is your metabolism powerhouse and so many people don't even realize they have thyroid issues because they aren't at the "di-ease" level and yet they have lots of symptoms.  

Instead of paying $4 for a bar, make it.

2 cups gluten free oat flour
½ cup coconut flour
½ cup protein powder (I love pea protein and buy mine from doterra)
2 tablespoons raw cacao
1/2 cup sliced almonds
½ cup nut butter of choice (sunbutter, almond, cashew)
½ cup brown rice syrup or maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut milk
(NOTE) - you may need to add more coconut milk. Add slowly until desired batter thickness.
** You can add hemp seeds, chia seeds, goji berries or dried fruit. You can add more raw cacao or even raw cacao nibs.

Design your perfect protein bar.
Need less wrinkles ??? YES -- if you are not vegan add 1 tablepsoon of collagen. Vegan? Add 1 teaspoon of spirulina.

In a high powdered blender, combine all ingredients except almonds.
Then take a spoon and put the dough into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Put in fridge for 30 minutes then cut into squares.
